Back in 2009 a young punjabian from lahore Azeem Iqbal started off learning guitar from online youtube tutorials and within a year became well equipped with rythmic guitar skills. He started doing cover songs for friends and family. Though he does not have a very good voice but he still loved playing different tunes and gradually developed the sense of music. After 3 years, as he prmoted his life to University, he began searching for something unique. The thirst for tunes, melody and rhythym led him to discover hidden talent of his younger brother Zeeshan iqbal who was in 6th class when started learning guitar. When he reached 8th class he mastered other beauty of the stringed instrument; the lead guitar. He was able to create tunes of songs by just hearing them at such a young age of 15. Both brothers teamed up to form
AZ -The Band, Pakistan's first guitar instrumental band. They have a youtube channel and a facebook fanpage of hundreds of followings. They also decided to share the knowledge of guitar by creating a blog where they teach guitar in urdu language on youtube videos. Their talent is a unique musical experience.
In 2011 we won at Pakistan Blog Awards in the category for the best music blog. we won this award in a tough competition against some top Pakistani music and entertainment websites.
